ನಾನು ವೇದ ಪುರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯೆನು,
ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳ ವಿಚಾರವನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿಯೆನು।
ಒಂದು ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಶ್ಯಾಮನಲ್ಲಿ,
ಅವನೇ ಪಾರ ಮಾಡಿಸುವನು॥
ಜಯ ವಿಷ್ಣು ಭಗವಾನ್ ದಯಾಳಾ,
ಜಯ ಜಗದೀಶ ಜಗತ್ ಪ್ರತಿಪಾಲಾ।
ಕ್ಷೀರ ಸಾಗರದ ನಿವಾಸಿ ನೀನು,
ಜಗದ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅಂತರ್ಯಾಮಿ॥
ಚತುರ್ಭುಜ ರೂಪ ಧರಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಭು,
ಶಂಖ ಚಕ್ರ ಗದಾ ಪದ್ಮ ಧರಿಸಿದ।
ಪೀತಾಂಬರ ಧಾರಿ ಸುಂದರ ರೂಪ,
ಮೋರು ಮುಕುಟ ತಲೆಯಲಿ ಶೋಭೆ॥
ಗರुड ವಾಹನ ಜಗದ ರಾಜಾ,
ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ನೀನೆ ಆಶ್ರಯ।
ಸಂಕಟ ಹರನ ಮಂಗಳಕಾರಿ,
ಭಕ್ತರ ದುಃಖ ಹರಣಕಾರಿ॥
ರಾಮ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾವಣ ಸಂಹಾರ,
ಕೃಷ್ಣ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಸ ಸಂಹಾರ।
ನರಸಿಂಹ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಹ್ಲಾದ ರಕ್ಷೆ,
ವಾಮನ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಿ ಮೋಹನ॥
ಮತ್ಸ್ಯ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ವೇದ ರಕ್ಷೆ,
ಕೂರ್ಮ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂದರ ಗಿರಿ ಧಾರಣೆ।
ವರಾಹ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂಮಿ ಉದ್ಧಾರ,
ಭಕ್ತರ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಸದಾ ಮಾಡುವನು॥
ನೀನೇ ಜಗದ ಪಾಲಕ,
ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಂಕಟ ನಿವಾರಕ।
ಯಾರು ನಿನ್ನ ಧ್ಯಾನ ಮಾಡುವರೋ,
ಅವರ ಮನೋವಾಂಛೆ ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗುವುದು॥
ದೀನ ದುಃಖಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೃಪೆ,
ನಿನ್ನ ಕರುಣೆ ಸದಾ ಇರುವುದು।
ಈ ಚಾಲೀಸೆಯನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯ ಪಠಿಸಿದರೆ,
ವಿಷ್ಣುವಿನ ಕೃಪೆ ದೊರೆಯುವುದು॥
ದುಃಖ ದಾರಿದ್ರ್ಯ ದೂರವಾಗುವುದು,
ಮನೆಯಲಿ ಸುಖ ಸಂಪತ್ತು ಬರವುದು।
ಭಕ್ತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿ ಮನ ಪವಿತ್ರವಾಗುವುದು,
ಅಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಷ್ಣು ಲೋಕ ಸಿಗುವುದು॥
