నేను వేద పురాణాలు తెలియదు,
శాస్త్రాల భావం తెలియదు।
ఒకటే నమ్మకం శ్యామునిపై,
ఆయనే తీరం చేరుస్తాడు॥
జయ విష్ణు భగవాన్ దయాళా,
జయ జగదీశ జగత్ ప్రతిపాలా।
క్షీరసాగర నివాసి నీవు,
జగానికి అంతర్యామి స్వామి॥
చతుర్భుజ రూపము ధరించినవాడా,
శంఖ చక్ర గదా పద్మధారకా।
పీతాంబర ధారి ప్రభూ నీవు,
మోరమకుటంతో శోభిల్లువాడా॥
గరుడ వాహనుడా జగత్ప్రభూ,
భక్తులకు నీవు ఆశ్రయము।
సంకటాలను తొలగించే వాడా,
భక్తుల దుఃఖాలను హరించే వాడా॥
రామరూపమై రావణుని సంహరించావు,
కృష్ణరూపమై కంసుని సంహరించావు।
నరసింహ రూపమై ప్రహ్లాదుని రక్షించావు,
వామన రూపమై బలిని మోహింపజేశావు॥
మత్స్య రూపమై వేదాలను రక్షించావు,
కూర్మ రూపమై మందరగిరిని ఎత్తావు।
వరాహ రూపమై భూమిని నిలిపావు,
భక్తులను ఎల్లప్పుడూ కాపాడేవాడివి॥
జగత్తును పోషించే వాడివి నీవే,
సంకటాలను తొలగించే వాడివి।
నిన్ను ధ్యానించే భక్తులకు,
సర్వ కోరికలు నెరవేరును॥
దీన దుఃఖులపై కరుణ చూపువాడా,
నీ కృప ఎల్లప్పుడూ ఉంటుంది।
ఈ చాలీసాను నిత్యం పఠించినవారికి,
విష్ణు కృప తప్పకుండా లభిస్తుంది॥
దుఃఖాలు దరిద్రాలు దూరమవుతాయి,
ఇంటిలో సుఖసంపదలు వస్తాయి।
భక్తి పెరిగి మనసు పవిత్రమవుతుంది,
చివరికి విష్ణు లోకాన్ని పొందుతారు॥
